Lino Pujia is the Producer of the previous very successful “Charlie film,” The Duel of Wine, as well as one of the main actors in it. He knows very well the intricacies of filming in the wine world.
Lino Pujia’s career has spanned several continents and multiple artistic disciplines. As a producer, writer and director, Pujia’s films have garnered international attention. Tango Eterno (Forever Tango), was selected by festivals in New York, Chicago, Madrid, and was the opening film at the Biarritz Film Festival. His film, San Cayetan, was selected by festivals in London, Trieste, Guadalajara, Santiago (Chile) and San Pablo, among others.
His last production, The Duel of Wine, was shot in USA, UK, France, Spain and Italy, with important sommeliers and chefs. It was presented at the Venice Film Festival, the Montreal World Film Festival, the Valladolid International Film Festival (Seminci) in Spain, and other International Film and Wine Festivals during 2016. His films have been recognized in many prominent festivals worldwide. Pujia has also worked on several television productions, including the direction of a series of concerts, operas and ballets for Argentina’s cable network, ‘’Canal Arte’’.
In Opera, Pujia worked as an assistant stage director assisting Liliana Cavani, Jerome Savary, and Harold Prince, among others. He worked on over 50 productions at ‘Teatro Colón’’ in Buenos Aires, Bonn, Germany and Zurich, Switzerland. During his theater career, Pujia worked with well-known singers including Placido Domingo, Ruggiero Raimondi, Alfredo Kraus, Mirella Freni, Leo Nucci, among others and with oscar winners as Dante Ferreti, Franca Squerciapino, Gabriella Pescucci or Eugenio Zanetti.
And in advertising, Pujia has worked for prominent companies, including Azur Productions (Cannes), Art Up (Paris), and REAL (Argentina) as an International Manager.
